FBCCI-ELECTION
FBCCI election to be held on April 27
DHAKA, Feb 5, 2019 (BSS)-The biennial election of the board of directors of the Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI) for the 2019-2921 tenure will be held on April 27.
The FBCCI election board has also announced the election schedule today, said a media release.
According to the schedule, last date of the payment of subscription of the general body members is February 26.
Nominations for the general body members have to be submitted to FBCCI by February 27. The preliminary voter list will be published on March 6 and after necessary corrections, the final list will be published on March 18.
According to the schedule, the last date for sending nominations for the post of directors (both elected and nominated) has been fixed on March 25.
Chairman of the FBCCI election board is Prof. Md. Ali Ashraf, MP.
The Election Appeal Board has been formed with Jahangir Alamin, former Director of FBCCI, as the Chairman.
