SHIPPING-PROJECT-IMPLEMENTATION
Shipping Ministry implementing 45 projects
DHAKA, Feb 3, 2019 (BSS) – The Ministry of Shipping is implementing a total of 45 projects, of which 35 are being implemented under Annual Development Program (ADP) and 10 from its own resources.
Taka 2,854.65 crore has been allocated for the projects under ADP, while Taka 1,317.89 crore was allocated for projects being implemented by ministry’s own fund.
Taka 1,392.22 crore has been spent out of 4, 172.54 crore in the first six months of the current fiscal year, which is 35.52 percent of total allocation.
The information was shared today by the ministry at the ADP meeting.
State Minister for Shipping Khalid Mahmud Chowdhury chaired the meeting.
Shipping secretary Md Abdus Samad and other senior officials of the ministry were also present in the meeting.
The State Minister ordered the concerned officials to complete the projects maintaining proper quality within the stipulated time.
