DHAKA, Feb 03, 2019 (BSS) – The government is planning to send skilled manpower to Seychelles, an East African country, as per its requirement.
A meeting on finalizing the draft ‘Agreement on Labour Cooperation (ALC)’ to send manpower was held at the Expatriates’ Welfare and Overseas Employment Ministry here today the ministry’s Secretary-in-Charge Rownaq Jahan in the chair, said a press release.
Jahan said new labour markets are opening for the skilled Bangladeshis following successful diplomatic efforts by the present government.
Bureau of Manpower, Employment and Training Director General Md Selim Reza, Bangladesh Overseas Employment and Services Limited Executive Director Dr Yeamin Akbari, Joint Secretaries of the ministry Md Fazlul Karim, Md Jahangir Alam and Nasirn Jahan, and Deputy Secretaries Monir Hossain Chowdhury and Dr Masuma Parvin, among others, were present in the meeting.
