Motorbike rider killed in Gangni road accident
MEHERPUR, Feb 2, 2019 (BSS) – A motorbike rider was killed and another
injured as their bike turned turtle in Hatboalia road area under Gangni
Upazila of the district today.
The deceased was identified as Md Akteruzzaman, 20, son of Azizul Islam, a
resident of Ramnagar village under Alamdanga Upazila in Chuadanga district.
Police said the accident occurred at around 11 am on the Gangni-Hatboalia
road when the bike turned turtle as its rider lost control over it, leaving
the duo riders injured.
Injured Akhteruzzaman and Harun-ur-Rashid were admitted to Gangni Upazila
Health Complex where Akhteruzzaman died under treatment.
Inspector of Gangni police station Shajedul confirmed the matter.
