Five-day watercolor workshop ends in Rangpur
RANGPUR, Feb 01, 2019 (BSS) – A five-day workshop on watercolor ended with exhibition of art camp and distribution of certificates among participating artists on the Town Hall premises here on Thursday afternoon.
Rangpur Fine Arts Academy (RFAA) organised the workshop participated by 30 watercolor artists of different ages from allover the district.
Noted watercolor artists Mintu Dey and Al Masum conducted different sessions in the five-day workshop as the main trainers.
On the concluding day, the participating artists exhibited their watercolor works at art camp arranged in front of the Shahityya Mancha on the Town Hall premises.
A large number of common people of all ages thronged the exhibition of watercolor works of the participating artists at the art camp.
Presided over by Founder and Executive Director of RFAA Ahsan Ahmed, former General Secretary of Rangpur Shilpokola Academy Tauhidur Rahman Tutul attended the concluding function as the chief guest.
General Secretary of Rangpur Shikha Sangshad Abdul Malek, its Drama Secretary Jahangir Kabir, noted drama personality GM Nazu and Assistant Professor of Aditmari Government College Abdul Kadir addressed as special guests.
At the end, the chief and other invited guests distributed certificates among the participating watercolor artists.
