Four illegal buildings demolished in capital
DHAKA, Jan 31, 2019 (BSS) – Rajdhani Unnayan Kartipakkha (RAJUK) today
demolished four buildings constructed violating its design in the capital’s
Kadamtali area.
Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) on January 24 last conducted a sudden
drive at Kadamtali area found one Tariqul Islam and his partners have been
constructing a building on 2,543 square feet area though they have taken
permission for 1,397 square feet area.
The commission informed RAJUK of the matter and requested it to take
action. In line with the request, the RAJUK today demolished the building in
presence of its executive magistrate Jesmin Akhter.
It also demolished three more illegal structures adjoining the building,
said an official release of ACC.
