DHAKA, Jan 29, 2019 (BSS) – A drama titled ‘ Khoabnama ‘ of eminent writer
Akhteruzzaman Elias was staged at National Art Gallery Auditorium of
Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy (BSA) in the city last night aiming to
represent the socio-political scenario of rural pre-partition Bangla amid
huge participation of the audiences.
Students of the 35th batch of Prachyanat School of Acting and Design acted
in the drama, also named as ‘The Saga of Dreams’ in english, at their
certificate giving ceremony under the direction of Kazi Toufiqul Islam Emon,
a BSA official said here today.
With one of the directors of Prachyanat School of Acting and Design Azad
Abul Kalam in the chair, the ceremony was addressed by its director Shahidul
Mamun, Professor Khaliquzzaman Elias and renowned actress Bipasha Hayat.
