PWD SC dumps Bornok Samaj 11-0 in 1st Div Hockey
DHAKA, Jan 28, 2019 (BSS)- The PWD Sporting Club dumped Bornok Samaj by
11-0 goals in a one-sided affairs of the Green Delta Insurance First Division
Hockey League held on Monday at Moulana Bhasani National Hockey Stadium.
In the day’s match, Sowan struck three goals and Porimol, Akash and
Labvjot Singh scored a brace apiece while Golap Chad and Faridul scored one
goal each for the winners.
Earlier, in the day’s first match also held at the same venue, Hockey
Dhaka United Club split point with Bachelors Sporting Club when their match
ended in a 2-2 goals draw.
In the day’s match, Imran Ahmed Sohel scored a brace for Dhaka United
while Mohammad Shamim and Meheruzzaman netted one goal apiece for Bachelors
Sporting Club.
