Stern actions if irregularities found in dev works : Ashraf
DHAKA, Jan 27, 2019 (BSS) – Fisheries and Livestock Minister Md Ashraf Ali
Khan Khasru, MP today made it clear that stern actions would be taken against
project directors of the ministry if irregularities are found in their works.
“With maintaining standard of quality people concerned must finish their
works within the stipulated time for making space for newer projects…. any
type of corruption will be dealt with zero tolerance,” he said.
The minister was speaking at the monthly review meeting of the Annual
Development Programme (ADP) at the ministry conference room here.
He urged the project directors not to conceal any failure or weakness of
undertaken projects and asked them to present the actual facts in ADP
meetings.
He also urged to stop wastage of government money and deposit the residue
amount of the projects to the government treasury.
Md Raisul Alam Mondal, secretary to the ministry, and other officials were
present at the meeting.
