Hasan mourns death of Nurul Alam Chowdhury
DHAKA, Jan 27, 2019 (BSS) – Information Minister Dr Hasan Mahmud, MP today
expressed deep shock at the death of former MP and freedom fighter Nurul Alam
Chowdhury.
“We have lost a true patriot and a dedicated politician today,” he said
after attending the namaz-e-janaza of Nurul Alam in Chattogram.
In a separate condolence message, Syeda Sajeda Chowdhury, MP also
expressed deep shock and heartfelt sympathy for the bereaved family.
Nurul Alam Chowdhury was Chattogram north district unit of Awami League
(AL) president and former member of parliament.
The freedom fighter died at Park View Hospital in Chattogram on Sunday at
the age of 75.
