Election of Mymensingh Press Club held
MYMENSINGH, Jan 26, 2019 (BSS) – Sheikh Mohiuddin Ahmed (Ittefaq) and Amit Roy (Jugantor) have been elected as secretary and joint secretary respectively of Mymensingh Press Club election held yesterday.
The other office bearers were vice-presidents – Dr K R Islam and Md Nowab Ali (Independent); treasurer Mustafizur Rahman; departmental secretaries- Abu Saleh Md Musa (Independent Television), advocate Mamun Mahfuz (Weekly Paridhi), Md Aminul Islam (The Daily Star) and Sharifuzzaman Titu (Dainik Sangbad); and members: Neamul Kabir Sajal (Kaler Kantha), Md Babul Hossain (Janokantha), Ataul Karim Khokon (Jugantor Bureau Chief), Prof Atiqur Rahman, Md Abdul Hasim (Dainik Jahan), Md Saiful Islam (Naya Diganta) and Jahangir Kabir Jewel (Mukta Khabor).
The deputy commissioner of Mymensingh is the ex-officio president of the club. Advocate AHM Khalequzzaman conducted the election as commissioner.
