BNP relies on hired leaders for ill politics: Rejaul

GOPALGANJ, Jan 26, 2019 (BSS) – Housing and Public Works Minister SM Rejaul Karim today said BNP is now relying high on hired leaders due to its ill politics and corruption.

“At present many big political parties of the country have no existence due to their ill politics. BNP is now also walking towards the destination. They have hired Dr Kamal Hossain as its chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia and acting chairman Tarique Rahman have been convicted in different cases. People have already rejected BNP,” he said.

The minister was talking to newsmen after paying homage to Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman at Tungipara, Gopalganj, by placing wreaths at his mausoleum this morning.

“Awami League’s biggest pledge was to benefit the rural people like urban life. We are working to this end. No rural people will remain hungry or be deprived of state rights,” the minister added.

Additional chief engineer of Public Works of Gopalganj Abul Khayer, supervisor engineer Shafiqul Islam, executive engineer Amit Kumar Biswas, Planning and Development executive engineer Abdul Halim and leaders and activists of Gopalganj Awami League were present on the occasion, among others.
