and one over boundary.

After the departure of two set batsmen, the tail ender’s could not fight
back losing their wickets in a quick succession.

three Rajshahi’s wickets each for 17 and 22 runs respectively while Taskin
Ahmed supported him with two wickets for 20 runs.

boundary.

to take Sylhet to a comfortable position. The English batsman Roy smashed 28-
ball off 42 runs with the help of four boundaries and two over boundaries
while Afif scored 28-run off 29 ball laced with three boundaries and one over
boundary.

Sylhet to set up a massive target for Rajshahi Kings. Tanvir cracked four
boundaries during 10-ball off 23 runs knocks.

Pacer Mustafizur Rahman was the most successful bowler as he claimed two
Sylhet’s wickets conceding 43 runs.

After winning the match, Sohail Tanvir, the man of the match of Sylhet
Sixers said, “We decided to go with the local captain today and that worked.
I always believed if you start well in the power play team has a good chance
of winning the match. There is a slim chance for us but still there is hope
for us in the tournament and that is keeping us alive.”

Losing Rajshahi Kings skipper Mehedy Hasan said, “We could not bat well.
We have lost two back to back matches. We have three matches left and we
would want to work hard. Hopefully, in the next match we will come back
strongly.”

With this win, Sylhet Sixers still placed second last of the table with
six points from nine matches while Rajshahi Kings remained at their previous
credit of eight points playing the same number of outings.
