Four killed in Bagerhat road accident
BAGERHAT, Jan 22, 2019 (BSS) – Four people were killed and 32 others
injured in a road accident at Fakirhat upazila of the district here today.
The victims were identified as – truck driver Kamrul Islam, 35, Bipin
Poddar, 55, of Mollarhat and Mahmudul Islam,13,of Khulna. The identity of the
other deceased could not be known immediately.
Md Shahadad Hossain, Additional Police Super (ASP) of Bagerhat said the
accident occurred when a Dhaka-bound bus from Khulna collided head-on with a
truck coming from the opposite direction in Kolomer Dokan area under Fakirhat
Upazila of the district this noon.
Three people died on the spot while another died on way to hospital.
The injured were admitted to Khulna Medical College Hospital for
treatment.
