200 hapless women get blankets in Gaibandha
GAIBANDHA, JAN 22, 2019 (BSS) – About 200 women of Kaiyarhat area under
Fulchhari upazila in the district received blankets from Ladies’ Club here
yesterday.
Yasmin Matin, chairperson of the club, handed over the blankets among 190
distressed women as the chief guest at Kaiyarhat Government Primary School on
Monday afternoon.
Upazila Nirbahi Officer Abdul Hamid Tolstoy, district relief and
rehabilitation officer AKM Idris Ali, assistant commissioner (land) of Sadar
upazila Raonok Jahan, members of the club – Rezia Akter, Sahenur
Fazilatunnesa, Dilara Islam, and Nilufar Begum Lucky – and journalist Sarker
M Shahiduzzaman were present on the occasion.
