KM Khalid condoles death of Ahmed Imtiaz Bulbul
DHAKA, Jan 22, 2019 (BSS)- State Minister for Cultural Affairs KM Khalid today expressed profound shock at the death of noted musician and freedom fighter Ahmed Imtiaz Bulbul.
In a condolence message, the state minister said the death of Imtiaz Bulbul is irreparable loss. The country has lost a noted musician at his death, he added.
Khalid prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family.
Bulbul, the Ekushey Padak winner, breathed his last in the early hours of today following a cardiac arrest at his Aftabnagar residence in the city at the age of 63.
Bulbul joined the Liberation War in 1971. He also achieved National Film Award and the President Award.
