Hong Kong stocks rally into break on trade hopes
HONG KONG, Jan 21, 2019 (BSS/AFP) – Hong Kong stocks ended the morning
with more gains on Monday, extending last week’s rally on hopes for China-US
trade talks, while data showed the mainland’s economy grew in line with
forecasts in 2018.
The Hang Seng Index added 0.34 percent, or 91.10 points, to 27,181.91 by
the break.
