Miscreants kill two people in Khulna
KHULNA, Jan 19, 2019 (BSS) – Two people were killed by unidentified
criminals last night in Sonadanga Bus Stand area under Sonadanga Model Police
Station in the city.
The victims are Akter Hossain, 55, owner of an Engineering Workshop and
Mehedi Hasan, 18, a worker of the workshop.
Being informed, police recovered the bodies from their residence at road
no-2 of Sonadanga Truck Terminal area.
Akter, son of late Shamsuddin Mondal, hailed from Kaliganj upazila in
Jhenidah, a tenant of Idris Ali, started his business seven months back.
Quoting Idris Ali, Officer-in-Charge of Sonadanga Model Police Station said
the duo might have been strangulated last night.
Mehedi, son of Humayun Kabir, resident of Khulna Medical College area left
the house around 7.30pm last night and did not return, the OC said, quoting
his father.
Two bodies were sent to Khulna Medical College Hospital (KMCH) morgue.
