DU Mohsin Hall sports competition held
DHAKA, Jan 18, 2019 (BSS) – The annual sports competition of Haji Muhammad
Mohsin Hall of Dhaka University (DU) was held on the central playground of
the university.
Md Abul Kashem, first year(Hons) student of the Department of Information
Science and Library Management and Md Shahidul Islam, first year (Hons)
student of the Department of Islamic History and Culture became champion and
runner-up respectively in the annual sports competition.
DU Treasurer Professor Dr Md Kamal Uddin inaugurated the programme in the
morning. After the competition, Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Md Akhtaruzzaman
distributed prizes among the winners as the chief guest.
Provost of the Hall and President of DU Athletics Committee Prof Dr Md
Nizamul Hoque Bhuiyan, Advisor and Director of Physical Education Centre Prof
Dr M Ziaul Hoque Mamun, house tutors and students and officials of the Hall
were present on the occasion.
