with four boundaries and one over boundary while Sabbir Rahman added 11 runs.

Andrew Birch was the pick of Dhaka’s bowler as he claimed three Sylhet’s

In reply, Dhaka Dynamites suffered early batting jolt as they lost their

help of two boundaries and four over boundaries.

Mohammad Irfan was the most successful bowler as he claimed two Dhaka’s
wickets conceding 38 runs.

Shakib Al Hasan of Dhaka was named the player of the match for his
magnificent all-round performance.

Winning Dhaka’s skipper Shakib, after the match, said: “I thought the
wicket got better in the second half. We could have bowled better. After
getting them 5 down less than 100, we could have wrapped them up for a
smaller score as only David Warner was their main batsman left. Still, happy
that we did the job with the bat. We’re going well overall, just a bit of
fine-tuning needed. It’s a long tournament, so we need to keep ourselves
fresh and keep going.”

After the match Sylhet Sixers skipper Warner said: “Pretty disappointing.
I thought 160 was about par but fantastic innings there from Shakib. Don’t
see too many wins coming from three down, so credit to them. We scrambled to
around 160 but couldn’t get the job done. There was an over there from Al-
Amin which got the treatment from Shakib. Happens sometimes, just got to come
back positive tomorrow.

With this victory, Dhaka Dynamites maintained their top position in the
points table with 10 points from six matches while Sylhet Sixers remained at
their previous credit of four points playing the same number of outings.
