National Women’s Handball results on day 3
DHAKA, Jan 17, 2019 (BSS)-Three more matches of the EXIM Bank 29th
National Women’s Handball competition were decided on the third day
(Thursday) at Shaheed Captain M Mansur Ali Handball Stadium in the city.
In the day’s matches, Jamalpur District Sports Association (DSA) beat
Dhaka DSA by 1-05 goals after leading the first half by 11-04 goals,
Bangladesh Police Handball Club defeated Noagaon DSA by 33-14 goals after
dominating the first half by 18-6 goals and Bangladesh Jute Mills Corporation
outclassed Dhaka DSA by 38-5 goals after leading the first half by 25-2
goals.
Earlier, on Wednesday’s last match, Bangladesh Ansar overpowered
Bangladesh Police Handball team by 32-20 goals after leading the first half
by 14-10 goals.
Sponsored by EXIM Bank, a total of 14 district and services teams are
taking part in the meet.
The participating teams are – Feni, Jamalpur, Noagaon, Narail, Panchagarh,
Gopalganj, Faridpur, Dinajpur, Chudanga, Kushtia DSAs, and Bangladesh Ansar,
Bangladesh Police and Bangladesh Jute Mills Corporation, organised by
Bangladesh Handball Federation.
