Info minister continues teaching at JU
DHAKA, Jan 16, 2019 (BSS) – Information Minister Dr Hasan Mahmud will
continue his teaching profession as a part-time teacher at Environmental
Science Department in Jahangirnagar University (JU).
After assuming office as the information minister, he is going to take his
first class tomorrow, said an official release here today.
Eminent environmentalist Dr Hasan joined JU Environmental Science
Department as a part-time faculty in the last September on the request of
teachers and students of the department.
The students made their demand of getting Dr Hasan as a regular teacher
after attending a class of him on the request of university authority.
Earlier, the minister worked at Environment and Bangladesh Studies
Department in East-West University and North-South University.
