Robotics carnival begins at Buet tomorrow
DHAKA, Jan 16, 2019 (BSS) – A two-day “Robo Carnival-2019” will begin at
Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (Buet) tomorrow with a
view to engaging all the robotics enthusiasts of different institutions of
the country.
State Minister for Ministry of Telecommunication and Information Technology
Zunaid Ahmed Palak is expected to present at the closing ceremony of Robo
Carnival-2019 as the chief guest while Buet Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Saiful
Islam as the special guest.
This national level event is organised by Buet Robotics Society this year
for third consecutive time, a Buet press release said.
Pathfinder, Industrial Automation Challenge, Soccer Bot Competition,
Project Showcasing and Cognition and Idea Competition are the five segments
of Robo Carnival-2019.
Around 800 participants from more than 20 institutions of the country will
participate in 5 segments of this grand event.
