Mild cold wave sweeps over parts of country
DHAKA, Jan 16, 2019 (BSS) – Mild to moderate cold wave is sweeping over
Rangpur division and the regions of Madaripur, Moulvibazar, Rajshahi, Pabna,
Naogaon, Khulna, Satkhira, Jashore, Chuadanga, Barishal, Khepupara and Bhola
and it may continue for few days, a met office release said today.
Light to moderate fog may occur at some places over the country from mid
night to tomorrow morning while weather may remain dry with temporary partly
cloudy sky over the country, it added.
Night and day temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country.
The highest temperature in the country yesterday was recorded 28.4 degrees
Celsius at Teknaf in Chattogram while today’s minimum temperature was 6.1
degrees Celsius at Chuadanga in Khulna.
The sun sets at 5.33 pm today and rises at 6.44 am tomorrow in the
capital.
