DHAKA, Jan 15, 2019 (BSS)-The prestigious Sheikh Kamal International Club
Cup tournament will be held in October later this year in Chattogram.
The decision was taken at Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) executive
committee’s meeting held on Tuesday at the board room of BFF house with its
president Kazi Mohammad Salahuddin in the chair.
The meeting also decided to hold Bangamata U-19 International Gold Cup in
April. Apart from hoist Bangladesh five more countries will take part in the
prestigious meet to be sponsored by K Sports.
The registration formality of Bangladesh Championship League will continue
till January 31 while the league will commence on February 5.
This time two teams will be promoted while two teams will be relegated in
the league.
The Second Division Football League will begin soon under the supervision
of Dhaka Metropolis Football League committee.
Besides, the U-16 Women’s Football team will continue their training in
order to get a good result in the second round of AFC U-16 Women’s
Championship Thailand qualifiers scheduled to be held from February 27 to
March 3 in Myanmar.
