Manob Kantho Acting Editor Chowdhury dies
DHAKA, Jan 15, 2019 (BSS) – The acting editor of Daily Manob Kantho Abu
Bakar Chowdhury died of a cardiac arrest at a city hospital early today. He
was 54.
Family sources said Chowdhury breathed his last at Ibn Sina Hospital in the
capital at 5.15 am today after he was rushed to the hospital from his
Dhanmandi residence.
He is survived by mother, wife and a host of relatives, well-wishers and
admirers.
His namaz-e-janaza will be held at At-takwa Masjid on 12/a road at
Dhanmandi after Zohr prayers. Later, he will be buried at Azimpur graveyard
in the city.
Abu Bakar Chowdhury started his journalism career in 1991. He worked for
Weekly Protayon, Weekly Khabor, Ajker Kajog, Amader Somoy, Sokaler Khabor,
Samakal and lastly Dainik Manob Kantho.
