Three bank officials held for embezzling Tk 12.85cr
CHATTOGRAM, Jan 14, 2019 (BSS) – Three officials of Pubali Bank were arrested in connection with emblazing Taka 12.85 crore in Chattogram.
Mohammad Manjurul Islam, deputy general manager of Pubali Bank Chattogram region, handed over them to Chawlkbazar thana police today.
The detainees were identified as Pubali Bank Chawkbazar branch manager Enamul Karim Chowdhury, 45, Junior Officer Ekramul Reza Rezvi, 31, and officer (computer) Chandon Dey, 32.
Later, Manjurul Islam filed a case accusing seven people, including the detained trio, for misappropriating Tk 12 crore 85 lakh and 50,000.
