BNP’s re-election demand is not realistic: Tofail
BHOLA, JAN 14, 2019 (BSS) – Awami League Advisory Council Member and former
Commerce Minister Tofail Ahmed today said the demand of BNP for re-election
is not practical and it will never happen in Bangladesh.
He said this while visiting gutted shops at Junction Bazar in Bhola Sadar
upazila today.
“The BNP was born in an unusual situation as it grew up through military
dictatorship. Such party cannot survive in the field of politics,” he said.
Mentioning that BNP should come to the parliament, he said they will do
mistake again if they do not come to the parliament.
He also expressed hope that the connstruction work of ‘Bhola-Barishal
Bridge’ will start soon.
A total of 45 shops and business establishments were gutted at Junction
Bazar on last Saturday.
