Two killed in Thakurgaon road accidents
RANGPUR, Jan 12, 2019 (BSS) – Two people, including a minor boy and a motorcyclist, were killed in separate road accidents at different places of Thakurgaon district today, police said.
A minor boy was killed on the spot after a microbus hit him while he was crossing the Ranisonkoil-Baliadangi regional road at Chandanchahot point under Ranisonkoil upazila of Thakurgaon this morning.
“The deceased was identified as Habib Ullah, 6, son of Tayeb Ali of Chandanchahot village in Ranisonkoil upazila,” Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Ranisonkoil Thana Abdul Mannan said.
In another accident, a motorcyclist was killed when a Trolley hit his motorcycle at Shibganj point on the Thakurgaon-Pirganj road under Sadar upazila of Thakurgaon this noon.
“The deceased was identified as Abdul Awal, 32, son of local Awami League leader Saikat Ali of village Gedura Munnatuli in Haripur upazila of Thakurgaon district,” said OC of Thakurgaon Sadar Thana Ashiqur Rahman.
Separate cases were filed in these connections with the respective police stations.
