Ershad gets official recognition as Opposition Leader
DHAKA, Jan 10, 2019 (BSS) – Jatiya Party Chairman HM Ershad and Co-
chairman GM Quader have been officially recognised as the Leader of the
Opposition and Deputy Leader of the Opposition respectively in the 11th
parliament.
Speaker Dr Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury recognised their positions in the
parliament, according to a statement of the Parliament Secretariat issued
today.
Ershad was elected MP from Rangpur-3 seat while GM Quader from
Lalmonirhat-3 in the December 30 polls.
