DHAKA, Jan 9, 2019 (BSS) – The government has appointed personal
secretaries (PS) to 24 ministers, 19 state ministers and three deputy
ministers.
The officials were recruited according to ‘The Ministers, Ministers of
State and Deputy Minister (Remuneration and Privileges) (Amendment) Act,
2016’.
The Public Administration Ministry issued a gazette in this regard on
Tuesday.
According to the gazette, the personal secretaries will hold their
positions as long as the cabinet members hold their posts and they want them
to continue.
