DHAKA, Jan 7, 2018 (BSS)-Newly appointed Education Minister Dr. Dipu Moni today said she would work under the guidance of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina to maintain the pace of development in the education sector.
“Education sector is an important sector and as a minister I would work sincerely maintaining the policy and objectives of the government,” Dipu Moni said while giving her reaction to BSS after taking oath at Bangabhaban here this afternoon.
Dipu Moni, who held the Ministry of Foreign Affairs during 2009-2013 tenure of Awami League, expressed her optimism that she would be successful in steering this ministry as the Prime Minister is leading the country with her visionary and dynamic leadership.
“The people of Bangladesh expect a lot from us as they have enough confidence on us. The visionary leader Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has already transformed the country into a developing one. So, we are very much hopeful to achieve our goals in the education sector side by side with other sectors,” she added.
