‘Green Book’ wins Golden Globe for best comedy film
LOS ANGELES, Jan 7, 2019 (BSS/AFP) – “Green Book” — the story of a black
classical pianist in 1960s America who hires an Italian-American bouncer as
his driver for a tour of the racially divided South — on Sunday won the
Golden Globe for best musical/comedy film.
It bested royal romp “The Favourite,” rom-com hit “Crazy Rich Asians,”
Disney sequel “Mary Poppins Returns” and Dick Cheney biopic “Vice.”
