One crushed under wheels of train in Ctg
CHATTOGRAM, Jan 6, 2019 (BSS) – A brickfield labour was killed as a
Chattogram-bound train hit him in Baroiarhat area under Mirsari upazila this
morning.
The victim was identified as Abdul Rafiq, 45, son of Joidul Mia, a
brickfield labour in Khagrachhari district.
Azizul Hoque, sub-inspector of Jorergonj thana, said Rafiq was critically
injured when a Chattogram-bound train from Dhaka knocked down him in the
aforesaid area around 7 am.
Locals rushed him to Chattogram Medical College Hospital (CMCH) where on
duty doctors declared him dead, said Alauddin Talukder, sub-inspector of CMCH
police outpost. .
