Firearm recovered in C’nawabganj
CHAPAINAWABGANJ, Jan 4, 2019 (BSS)-Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) recovered
a USA made pistol with magazine and seven rounds of bullet from Tarapur field
area under Shibganj upazila of the district early today.
BGB sources said, acting on a tip-off, a patrol team of the BGB went to
the aforesaid frontier area around 4-45 am and saw a man coming from Indian
side of the border with a bag.
Sensing the presence of BGB, the man fled away leaving behind a bag. After
searching the bag, the BGB found the firearm and ammunition.
Later, the recovered firearm and ammunition were deposited with Shibganj
thana.
