DHAKA, Jan 3, 2019 (BSS) -Bikalpa Dhara Bangladesh (BDB) President Professor A Q M Badruddoza Chowdhury today extended his heartfelt congratulations to Awami League President Sheikh Hasina on her party’s massive victory for the third consecutive term in the parliamentary election.
Chowdhury also greeted newly elected parliamentarians from his party–BDB’s secretary general Major (retd.) Abdul Mannan and party’s presidium member Mahi B Chowdhury.
Badruddoza was presiding over a meeting held at his residence.
“Grand alliance’s candidates under the leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina have secured a massive victory. All the credit goes to Sheikh Hasina. She has made a record for being elected for third consecutive term,” he said.
He hoped that the country’s development under the leadership of Sheikh Hasina would be continued to elevate Bangladesh into the tier of developed nations.
BDB’s secretary general Major (retd.) Abdul Mannan, and party’s presidium members– Mahi B Chowdhury, Shamsher Mobin Chowdhury and Golam Sarower Milon, among others, addressed the meeting.
