AL’s victory reflects people’s confidence on Sheikh Hasina: Mozammel
DHAKA, Jan 2, 2019 (BSS) – Liberation War Affairs Minister AKM Mozammel Huq today dubbed Awami League’s (AL) victory in the 11th parliamentary polls as the reflection of the people’s confidence on the government led by Prime Minister (PM) Sheikh Hasina.
“The countrymen always keep faith in AL government as its only goal is to develop the country ensuring transparency and accountability…AL’s landslide victory is reflective of people’s confidence on PM,” he said.
He was speaking at a reception hosted in his honour on his victory by Liberation War Affairs Ministry at Secretariat, said a press release.
The minister said “Awami League is pledge-bound to ensure homes for all and people do not suffer from starvation or are deprived of healthcare services and education”.
Acting Secretary of the ministry SM Arif-ur-Rahman was present, among others.
