Newly elected lawmakers of Oikyafront should join parliament: Mosharraf
DHAKA, Jan 2, 2019 (BSS) – Housing and Public Works Minister Engineer
Khandakar Mosharraf Hossain today said newly elected lawmakers of Jatiya
Oikyafront should join parliament to speak up for the well-being of people.
“They (newly elected lawmakers of Jatiya Oikyafront) have been elected
as representative of the people … So, they should join parliament for doing
work of the people,” he told journalists while exchanging New Year greetings
at his ministry here.
The newly elected Members of Parliament(MP) of Jatiya Party, BNP,
Gonoforum should extend their cooperation to the government through playing
active role in the parliament, the minister added.
About landslide victory of Awami League (AL), Mosharraf said, the people
of the country cast their votes for ‘Boat’, electoral symbol of AL, for
continuing ongoing development trend in the country.
