FBCCI distributes warm cloths among cold-hit people
DHAKA, Jan 2, 2019 (BSS) – Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI) Foundation today distributed warm clothes among the cold-hit people aiming at standing beside to mitigate their sufferings at Tibbet Colony Bazar, Tejgaon and Banani Korail Ershad School Ground.
FBCCI Foundation Managing Director Md Habib Ullah Dawn, FBCCI President Md Shafiul Islam Mohiuddin and Senior Vice President Sheikh FazleFahim distributed the clothes among the cold hit people, a FBCCI release said here.
“FBCCI Foundation is satisfied to distribute the clothes among the distressed peoples… We are working for the affected peoples of natural calamities round the year,” FBCCI President Mohiuddin said.
FBCCI Directors Khandaker Ruhul Amin, Md Kohinoor Islam and Rashadul Hossain Chowdhury (Ronni) also took part in the distribution activities, it added.
After the establishment in 2008, the FBCCI Foundation has been working relentlessly for the welfare of the common people as well as the micro entrepreneurs. The Foundation has been able to make self-dependent a huge number of men and women by providing self employment materials including sewing machines, vans and many other things.
The Foundation also has plans to offer language courses for the foreign going workers and to provide vocational and handicrafts training course for the unemployed youths.
The FBCCI Foundation will also extend assistance to the poor farmers by providing agriculture equipments.
