49 lakh new textbooks distributed in Narsingdi
NARSINGDI, Jan 1, 2019 (BSS) – As many as 49 lakh new textbooks were distributed among the students of primary, secondary and vocational students of the district for the 2019 academic year today.
On the occasion, Deputy Commissioner of Narsingdi Seyda Farhana Kawnine formally inaugurated a textbook festival with distribution free textbooks among the students in the town.
The schools are Narsingdi Ideal High School, Nasingdi Government Boys High School, Narsingdi Government Girls High School, Satirpara Kali Kumer High School and Pashware Goasia Madrasha.
The distribution function was also present, among others, by Additional Deputy Commissioner (Education and ICT) Saiful Islam, District Education Officer (secondary) Harun-or-Rashid and District Primary Education officer Fazlul Hoque.
