Infant drowns in Chuadanga
CHUADANGA, Jan 1, 2019 (BSS) – A 3-year-old minor boy drowned at Mochainagar village in Alomdanga upazila of the district today.
The deceased was identified as Rohan Ahmed, son of Masud Rana, hailed from Baro Gangni village of the upazila. He went to Mochainagar a week ago where his maternal grandparents live.
Local people said the Rohan drowned into a tank posted in a betel-leaf filed at the village Mochainagar this afternoon. He was admitted to Chuadanga Sadar Hospital where the on-duty doctor declared him dead.
