DHAKA, Dec 31, 2018 (BSS) – Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD)
today predicts dry weather with temporary partly cloudy sky over the country
in 24 hours as of 9 am tomorrow.
Light to moderate fog may occur at some places over the country from late
night to tomorrow morning, said a met bulletin issued here this morning.
It said severe cold wave is sweeping over Panchaghar district as mild to
moderate cold wave is sweeping over Mymensingh division and rest part of
Rangpur division and the regions of Tagail, Madaripur, Gopalgonj, Sitakunda,
Srimangal, Rajshahi, Naogaon, Khulna, Jashore, Chuadanga and Barisal and it
may continue some parts of these areas.
Night temperature may rise slightly and day temperature may remain nearly
unchanged over the country.
The highest temperature in the country on Thursday was recorded 28 degrees
Celsius at Feni and today’s minimum temperature 5.1 degrees Celsius at
Tetulia.
The sun sets at 5.22 pm today and rises at 6.42 am tomorrow in the capital.
