AL will defeat anti-liberation forces: Menon
DHAKA, Dec 27, 2018 (BSS) – Bangladesh Workers Party President Rashed Khan Menon today said that Awami League (AL)-led 14-party will defeat the anti-liberation forces in the month of victory.
“Our grand alliance will achieve another great victory in the polls on December 30 by defeating anti-liberation forces,” he told a street rally organized by the Ward-12 AL in city’s Malibag area.
Menon, also AL-led grand alliance candidate for Dhaka-8 constituency, said BNP’s conspiracy to buy their votes is being foiled. Now they have started killing themselves to mar the election, he added.
Referring to the ongoing development made by the AL-led government over the years, he said no one would be able to halt its spree.
The rally was also addressed by 12-ward AL President Enayet Hossain, General Secretary Mazharul Islam Tuhin, Workers Party central member Mostafa Alamgir Ratan and Tohidul Islam, among others.
