Mock voting of EVM held in Khulna
KHULNA, Dec 27, 2018 (BSS) – Mock voting of Khulna-2 constituency
(Sadar-Sonadanga) was held in the city today.
Both male and female voters casted mock votes through EVM at 157 centres
out of 720 from 10 am to 4 pm.
Assistant Returning Officer of the constituency Soumen Biswas Chhanda
told BSS that the mock voting was held at ward no-16 to 31 in the city
through electronic voting machines (EVMs).
Most of the voters of the wards casted mock votes, she said, adding that
a total of 146,745 male and 147,371 female voters will cast their votes on
December 30 in the Khulna-2 constituency.
AL candidate Sheikh Salahuddin Jewel (Symbol-Boat), BNP candidate Nazrul
Islam Manju (Sheaf of Paddy), Islami Andolon candidate Abdul Aowal (Hand
Fan), Ganofront candidate Monira Begum (Fish), Zaker Party candidate KM Idris
Ali(Rose), CPB candidate H M Shahadat (Skethe) and BNF candidate SM Sohag
(Television) are contesting in the 30 December general election for the
Khulna-2 seat.
