3 drug paddlers held with yaba tablets in Rajshahi
RAJSHAHI, Dec 25, 2018 (BSS) – Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB)
arrested three alleged drug traders with banned Yaba tablets from
Khirshikantikar area under Shahmukhdum Police Station in the city last night.
RAB sources said the arrested persons were identified as Towhidul Islam,
35, Amirul Islam, 52, and Sabuj Mian, 19.
On a tip-off, a team of the elite force conducted a sudden raid in the area
at about 1.30 am and arrested them red-handed.
The RAB team recovered 410 pieces of Yaba tablets and 661.2 liters of
country-made liquor from their possessions.
The sources said the arrested persons were involved in Yaba trading and
trafficking for long.
A case was recorded with the police station in this connection. The
arrested persons along with the seized contraband items were handed over to
the police today.
