Army issues warning against fake web pages named after military
DHAKA, Dec 24, 2018 (BSS) – Bangladesh Army today issued a warning against
some web pages using its name and urged people to be cautious about any
propaganda involving the military ahead of the upcoming parliamentary election.
“Efforts are underway to tarnish the image of the military through
propagating different campaigns in the name of army and its various agencies
through fake web sites, facebook accounts and YouTube channels,” read the
army statement released by ISPR.
It also urged the people to refrain from such fake posts involving the
military.
The ISPR simultaneously gave a list of its official web site, facebook page
and You Tube channel.
