Civil society conducts electioneering campaign for boat in Netrakona
NETRAKONA, Dec 23, 2018 (BSS) – Freedom fighters, leaders and workers of
different socio-cultural organizations conducted electioneering campaign
today in different areas of Sader and Barhatta upazila of the district for
Netrakona-2 constituency seeking vote for boat, the election symbol of Awami
league (AL).
The freedom fighters, leaders and workers of the organizations accompanied
by former MP, renowned freedom fighter and AL nominated candidate for
Netrakona-2 constituency Ashraf Ali Khan Khasru met with the voters,
exchanged greetings and requested them to cast their votes in favour of the
election symbol boat for continuation of development trend in the country.
They also held way-side electioneering meetings in different areas of the
constituency.
The meetings were addressed, among others, by the AL nominated candidate
for Netrakona-2 constituency and also general secretary of AL Netrakona
district unit Ashraf Ali Khan Khasru, former commander of district
Muktizoddha sangsad Nurul Amin, general secretary of district Red crescent
society Gazi Muzammel Hussain Tuku, vice president of AL Netrakona district
unit Golam Rasul Talukder, organizing secretary Samsur Rahman Liton,
president of AL Barhatta upazila unit Azizur Rahman and president of
Muktizoddha Santan command, Netrakona pourasava unit Azharul Islam Arun.
