US Ambassador calls on DU VC
DHAKA, Dec 22, 2018 (BSS) – US Ambassador Earl Miller today called on Dhaka University (DU) Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Md. Akhtaruzzaman today at the latter’s office.
The ambassador was accompanied by Madam Ambassador Michelle Admelman, Cultural Affairs Officer Joshua Kamp and Cultural Affairs Specialist Faroha Suhrawardy of the embassy, said a press release.
During the meeting, they discussed matters of mutual interest.
The VC apprised the ambassador of academic programs and history of Dhaka University.
In reply to a question of the ambassador, the VC said Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman was the best student of the university.
The VC thanked the ambassador for his visit to Dhaka University.
