ANNIVERSARY-DEATH-MOHIUDDIN
Journalist Mohiuddin Ahmed’s death anniversary tomorrow
DHAKA, Dec 21, 2018 (BSS) – Tomorrow is the 54th death anniversary of
journalist Mohiuddin Ahmed.
Ahmed, who worked for now defunct daily Insaf, Amar Desh, weekly Jehad,
fortnightly Mocholman, monthly Shatadal, died on December 22, 1964, at his
Poyalgacha Chowdhury Bari house in Comilla.
He used write articles and gained fame under pseudonym of Kalpurush.
Ahmed had to suffer imprisonment a couple of times due to his anti-
Pakistan stance and even the declaration of his daily Insaf was canceled.
A milad and doa mahfil will be organised at Kachua Changini Jame Mosque,
Chandpur after Asr prayers to mark the day.
