Day-long V-day women’s basketball held
DHAKA, Dec 21, 2018 (BSS)- The day-long Victory Day women’s basketball
competition was held on Friday marking the 48th Victory Day at Dhanmondi
Sultana Kamal Women’s Sports Complex in the city.
In the day’s matches, green team emerged champions in both under and
above 12 group while Warrior team emerged champions in senior group.
Organized by Bangladesh Women’s Sports Association (BWSA), Bangladesh
Basketball Federation general secretary lieutenant general AK Sarkar (retd.)
formally inaugurated the meet as the chief guest.
BWSA vice president Syeda Rubina Akter Mira presided over the opening
ceremony.
